Gaiety and patriotic fervor marked 70th Independence Day celebrations in the school on 16th august 2016. A special assembly by teachers on Independence Day was marked by patriotic song- “Bharat humko jaan se pyaara hai” and skit highlighting the importance of freedom and the role of freedom fighters of India who played an extensive role in getting independence for the country. The school also offered its salutation to the heroic and selfless son of Bharat Mata.- Captain Saurav Kalia.

Budh Purnima Celebrations

Buddha Purnima is a Buddhist festival that marks Gautama Buddha's birth, enlightenment and death. It falls on the day of the full moon in May. A special assembly on Buddha Purnima was conducted by the Sanskriti Chintan Club today. It began with the prayer song Buddha hi Buddha Hai. Students shared the life history of Gautam budha and spoke about the essence of Buddha’s teachings and his message to mankind.
